Cancellation Policy

At Kashmir Holiday Lab, we understand that travel plans may change unexpectedly. Our cancellation policy is designed to be transparent and fair for all travellers.

Cancellation by Traveller

  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or WhatsApp.
  • Cancellation charges will apply based on the number of days remaining before the travel date.

Cancellation Charges

  • 30 days or more before arrival: 10% of the total package cost
  • 15 to 29 days before arrival: 25% of the total package cost
  • 7 to 14 days before arrival: 50% of the total package cost
  • Less than 7 days before arrival: 100% cancellation charges

Refund Policy

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7–14 working days after cancellation approval.
  • Transaction charges, hotel retention fees, and government taxes may be deducted from the refundable amount.
  • No refunds will be provided for unused services, missed sightseeing, no-shows, or early departures during the trip.

Cancellation Due to Unforeseen Circumstances

Kashmir Holiday Lab shall not be held responsible for cancellations or delays caused by:

  • Natural disasters
  • Weather conditions
  • Road blockages
  • Government restrictions
  • Political disturbances
  • Flight/train cancellations
  • Any unforeseen circumstances beyond our control

In such cases, we will try our best to provide alternative arrangements or rescheduling support wherever possible.

Cancellation by Kashmir Holiday Lab

In rare situations where we are unable to operate a tour due to unavoidable reasons, travellers will be offered:

  • An alternative package, or
  • A refund applicable as per service provider policies

Important Note

Certain hotels, houseboats, flights, or special seasonal bookings may have separate cancellation policies. These will be communicated at the time of booking.
